I’m waiting for the third season of House to finish airing in the US and for someone to freakin upload it for the love of GOD!!!!!! I’d rather not sleep until I see the download button up on xtvi!!!I’m fighting the monster urge to just go ahead and sleep, but no…must….wait….uaaghhhrh…

So. Hm. I just saw the results up at azrul’s page, what I think is the official IIUM Debating League website. Dammit team "HOUSE" is last huahuahua~~~ I know I’m supposed to sad and all (trust me, I am!) but then there’s the 3rd round on the 9th and 10th to redeem ourselves, pride-wise I guess. Thing is, Afifah and I thought we’d improved by a considerable margin, if there was a yardstick to begin with. I guess in our case there was. We felt they were two of our better performances, it’s just that the judges will always tell us we need to find a significantly different point (or points) that would make us stand out, since tough luck we’d been gettin closing all weekend. We’ve consulted Azrul on the matter, but he said it was something that will come along with experience. Tough one, that. And again if I haven’t stress on this enough (this is called bitchin, people) almost everything, point-wise, that the judges say, is written down on the paper, bam bam! But they never came out! WTF??!!! I feel like givin myself a big hard kick in the rear region. HMmmppHhh…….someone shoot me already!

I’ve tons of assignments to do, apparently I’ve been watching a lot of tv since I came back for the mere 7-day holiday…sheesh. And  to top it all off, it’s International Break for EPL. Yeah. Neat huh. Of all week, THIS is the week for there NOT to be any ACTION! Get yer head outta the gutter, dude. I’m talkin EPL here. I kinda feel like I’m in the same position as Blackburn…last in the league table…*sobs* But I genuinely feel there’s gonna be a sunnier day….hmmm…..The last day for Round 2 I didn’t debate cuz Blackband didn’t show up, and naturally we had no team to go up against, so I just sat there, and little did I know it was gonna be so much fun. I got to learn a whole lot from merely observing the debates in room 1, helped Curse prep (they’re such a brilliant team, honestly) and watched them in action. It’s surprising how little they came up with during the prep, yet when it was time they banged the points and shoot it straight home! THIS is, I reckon, what is meant by experience. Watching them literally buried my sense of pride of actually being able to stand and talk for 7 minutes for three rounds. Hmm. Talk about obliteration!

Waiting for the game against Sheffield United on the 9th. Nyahahah funny thing, Sheffield United, there’s this Contract case on Harris v. Sheffield United Football Club and the first time I saw it I was practically grinning on the facade (people won’t understand if I start yelling all of a sudden) and started flipping for more footie cases. Found another two, and the only one I could remember of the two is this case with Newcastle United. Dammit. Newcastle is buying like crazy! And Glen Rhoeder looks like a Nazi! Don’t ask me why, I blame my sister for watching too many WW2 movies, but Rhoeder really does look like a Nazi! Not that I’m saying that it’s a bad thing or anything. They even tried to buy Neill as the deadline for the transfer window approached but hah! We held onto him, despite Rafa’s crazy haunting of our best right back! At least until January, that’s when the transfer window reopens. *sigh*. Shitty Eleza’s been yappin bout how the best players from our club always seem to depart for better, bigger clubs. I don’t blame them though (except for Beller’s..shitty clause!) Neill for example, had a terrific worldcup with the Socceroos, and would want nothing more than to improve his footie skills (and earn bigger bucks, huh!) at a bigger club if he could. *sigh again*. I’m waiting for us to actually make it big in Europe. Hahaha! Go go!

That, and I need ASTRO MAX! I seriously do. I need to record the games dammit!
